The action A1 "Identification and mapping at regional scale, the areas at greatest risk due to climate change" provides an assessment of different landscape units of the Sicilian territory with different intensities of intervention.
Has been realized a map of areas sensitive to climate change in Sicilian Region, with the aim of identifying the pre-forestry and forest formations most at risk and the factors that contribute to determining the degree of criticality (environmental factors and land management ), to define the best silvicultural practices functional to increase the resistance and the resilience of forest ecosystems.
